Local Election Information

Nomination papers for the offices of Mayor, City Clerk, Treasurer and 5 Alderman (one is a two-year unexpired term), Mayor, City Clerk for the 2025 Municipal Election are now available in the Office of the City Clerk, 120 E Third St, Pana, Illinois. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, excluding legal holidays.

 

Furthermore, candidates may file nomination petitions during regular business hours from October 21, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. through October 28, 2024, at 5:00p.m. at the front counter in the Office of the City Clerk.

 

Should a simultaneous lottery/lotteries be necessary, the lotteries will be scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.

 

The election to be held in 2025 will be for Mayor, City Clerk, Treasurer and 5 Alderman (one is a two-year unexpired term).  The Consolidated Primary Election, if necessary, will be held on February 24, 2025. The Consolidated Election will be held on April 1, 2025.
